About The Position

This role involves providing direct patient care and administering medications under the supervision of an RN or physician, operating within the licensed scope. The nurse will assist with patient assessment, ensure patient safety and well-being, and perform essential laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Additionally, the role includes educating patients and families on treatment plans, self-care, holistic health needs, and post-discharge follow-up.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Georgia Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works, or Compact state license specific to the state in which the associate works.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works, or Compact state license specific to the state in which the associate works.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Minimum one year of experience in a cardiology setting.
Proficiency in performing EKGs with a strong understanding of cardiac medications.
