About The Position

This role involves delivering comprehensive bedside care within the appropriate scope of practice. The Licensed Practical Nurse will contribute to the ongoing assessment of patient status and report findings promptly to the RN or Physician. Responsibilities include administering medication, maintaining documentation, performing essential laboratory tests and diagnostic clinical tasks as ordered, and assisting in the coordination of discharge planning and patient/family education.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
IV Certified
