About The Position
The Cardiac Renal Unit (CRU) at Deaconess Midtown is a 39-bed telemetry unit specializing in the care of patients with complex cardiovascular and renal conditions. Nurses on this unit care for patients with conditions such as heart failure, dysrhythmias, unstable angina, pre-open heart surgery, renal insufficiency, and kidney failure. The role involves close monitoring, expert assessment, and decisive action, with an emphasis on recognizing subtle changes, interpreting telemetry rhythms, managing complex conditions, and preventing complications. The unit fosters critical thinking, confidence, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse license or valid compact LPN license
