About The Position

DaVita is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to make an exceptional difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. This role involves delivering care in an empathetic way in a hospital setting. The position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting, be part of a supportive team, and utilize a broad range of nursing skills to care for patients with multiple co-morbidities. The work environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and rewarding, with potential for training and floating to various facilities. A flexible schedule is required to accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice.
Current CPR certification.
IV certification (if required by state regulations).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completed training program approved by the medical director and governing body (as required by CMS guidelines) prior to operating the water treatment system.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook (functional proficiency in DaVita's computer systems required within 90 days of hire).
Successful completion of a pre-employment color blind test (accommodations may be provided).

Nice To Haves

BONENT or CHT certification preferred (or as required by state regulation).
Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
