About The Position

The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing patient treatment through exercise, manual therapy, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. Requirements

• PTA license must be provided.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Organized.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledgeable of physical therapy practices.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience is preferred, but willing to train new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Supports physical therapy care by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment, materials and performing procedures.
• Obtains data related to the treatments given to the patient.
• Collaborates with the Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary.
