Licensed Physical Therapist - Outpatient Clinic
About The Position
ProActive Physical Therapy Centers is a leading provider of outpatient rehabilitation services, dedicated to helping our patients achieve their optimal health and mobility. Our team of skilled professionals collaborates to deliver personalized care in a supportive environment. We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. You will work closely with patients to help them regain strength, mobility, and function, promoting their overall well-being.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Active TX state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Knowledge of current best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English as PLUS!
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies.
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation.
