About The Position
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Director of Physical Therapy to lead daily operations, ensure clinical excellence, and support the professional growth of our therapy team. This position is ideal for a physical therapist who thrives in both patient care and leadership — someone who can balance hands-on treatment with operational oversight and team mentorship.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Physical Therapy required
- Current Texas Physical Therapy License
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, productivity metrics, and compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure efficient patient flow
- Supervise and mentor physical therapists, assistants, and support staff
- Manage scheduling, productivity, and compliance with company and state regulations
- Maintain high standards of evidence-based clinical practice
- Develop and implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve organizational goals and growth
- Foster a positive, patient-centered culture that supports employee engagement and satisfaction
- Participate in community outreach and professional development activities
