About The Position

HTS is hiring two Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join their therapy teams in South Bend, IN. These full-time positions involve providing high-quality therapy to residents across diverse care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and continuing care retirement communities. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The positions will cover two HTS sites in South Bend and involve working in fully equipped therapy gyms. Compensated drive time and mileage are provided for travel between buildings. Additionally, HTS is hiring for PRN PTA positions to work on an occasional, as-needed basis. Requirements

  • Active State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
  • Active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license.
  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program.
  • Passing of a state-administered national exam.
  • Fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality therapy to residents across diverse care settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Work across two HTS sites in South Bend.
  • Provide therapy in skilled nursing facilities and continuing care retirement communities offering short-term rehab, long-term care, outpatient, independent living and assisted living.
