About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a PRN Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for its Long-Term Care division in Wichita, Kansas. The role is based in an Independent Living and Assisted Living setting at Caritas Center, a 22-bed skilled nursing facility. The stated wage range is $35–$38 per hour. The position provides direct patient care and supports treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, while coordinating with other healthcare professionals and support staff. Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligibility.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care and support effective treatment outcomes.
