About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) Opportunity! This is a full-time position (40 hours) located at Corbin Health and Rehab in Corbin, KY, a beautiful long-term care facility. You will work with a strong HealthPro Heritage therapy team, treat both short-term rehab and long-term care patients, utilize state-of-the-art equipment, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and make a real impact helping residents regain independence and return home safely!

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
