About The Position

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country. We are currently seeking Licensed Electricians to work permits and service.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Licensed - Completion of a formal apprenticeship and proof of valid electrician's license required
Unlicensed - Must be enrolled in a trade apprenticeship
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Ability to read blueprints
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Solar or relevant experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Complete projects within established policies and procedures
Complete projects within time frames and budgets
Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety
Coordinate the pickup and delivery of permits with local jurisdictions to ensure projects remain compliant and on schedule.
Perform residential and commercial service work, including troubleshooting electrical issues, completing retrofit installations, and resolving post-installation deficiencies such as obtaining missing documentation or photos.
Diagnose and repair electrical system concerns while providing effective and timely solutions to service-related issues.
Communicate with customers in a professional, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability
Document proper paperwork for each job completed
Performs other related duties as assigned
