About The Position

Sierra Vista Hospital is seeking Licensed Therapists for the Outpatient Department in Davis. The position involves working in a behavioral health setting as part of a team dedicated to serving patients. Full-time, Part-time, and PRN scheduled options are available, with a $5K signing bonus for full-time hires. The Licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) Outpatient Clinician provides treatment and case management activities, including individual and group therapy, linkage with community resources, and discharge planning. Sierra Vista Hospital, a 171-bed psychiatric care facility in south Sacramento, offers comprehensive mental health services for emotional, behavioral, and addiction problems since 1986. Requirements

  • Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health or a related field
  • LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC licensure
  • CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one (1) year direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting
  • Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, discharge planning and communication with external review organizations or a comparable license
  • Knowledge of medical necessity and documentation standards
