About The Position

Sierra Vista Hospital is seeking Licensed Therapists for the Outpatient Department in Davis. The position involves working in a behavioral health setting as part of a team dedicated to serving patients. Full-time, Part-time, and PRN scheduled options are available, with a $5K signing bonus for full-time hires. The Licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) Outpatient Clinician provides treatment and case management activities, including individual and group therapy, linkage with community resources, and discharge planning. Sierra Vista Hospital, a 171-bed psychiatric care facility in south Sacramento, offers comprehensive mental health services for emotional, behavioral, and addiction problems since 1986. Requirements

Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health or a related field
LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC licensure
CPR certification
Kind, empathetic, compassionate, and thick skinned

Ability to build warm, caring and therapeutic relationships with patients
Ability to set and enforce limits with regards to acceptable behavior

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one (1) year direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting
Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, discharge planning and communication with external review organizations or a comparable license
Knowledge of medical necessity and documentation standards
