Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a Human Service or related field
  • Valid full or provisional licensure in one of the following disciplines: LCSW, LMFT or LCMHC and LCAS
  • Knowledge and the ability to practically implement mental health regulations and clinical services
  • Effective communication, decision making, analytical, interpersonal, leadership and professionalism skills and abilities
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Valid North Carolina’s Driver’s License
  • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal, HCPR and driving checks

  • Trauma-informed knowledge and experience preferred
  • Successful applicants with associate licensure will receive support with supervision needs as well as with ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Transformational Clinical Care: Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, including trauma screenings, suicide risk, and crisis planning
  • Develop thoughtful treatment plans that integrate clinical data, assessments, and collateral information
  • Support Families and Strengthen Outcomes: Collaborate with families, providers, and community partners to coordinate care
  • Connect individuals to essential services and supports
  • Participate in treatment teams and contribute to meaningful, client-centered interventions
  • Engage in Community-Based Work: Deliver services in a variety of real-world settings, including homes, schools, and clinics
  • Help bridge gaps in access by meeting clients where they are
  • Contribute to Clinical Excellence: Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with service requirements
  • Participate in clinical staffings, supervision, and team meetings
  • Support program development and therapeutic activities
  • Be There When It Matters Most: Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation to support crisis response and stabilization
