Licensed or IT Therapist - Family Centered Treatment
About The Position
Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI (LSS) is seeking passionate, committed Therapists to join our Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Team. This role offers the impact, support, and flexibility for individuals energized by meaningful, relationship-based work who want to help families heal, stabilize, and stay together. The FCT team provides weekly individual and group supervision as part of an evidence-based model, ensuring support and growth. Family Centered Treatment is a fully implemented, home-based, trauma-informed model designed to stabilize or reunify families by helping them identify practical solutions, strengthen relationships, and break cycles of intergenerational trauma. The core belief is that families have incredible strengths, and this role helps them utilize those strengths.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
- Practicum experience related to LSS services.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Eligibility for training or full licensure per WI DSPS requirements.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Responsibilities
- Work a flexible schedule, including some evening hours based on family needs.
- Learn and apply the FCT model, completing Level 1 Certification within 12 months with full support from your supervisor and team trainer.
- Provide direct clinical treatment aligned with FCT principles, meeting fidelity expectations (5 hours/week per family).
- Manage a small caseload of 3–5 families, depending on travel.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in our Electronic Health Record system.
- Collaborate with families, schools, county partners, and other systems to support treatment success.
- Participate in weekly individual and team supervision, including peer review.
- Join a rotating 24/7 caregiver coaching support system (1–2 weekends per quarter).
