About The Position

Palo Alto Therapy is seeking a licensed or associate therapist to work with a varied caseload that includes individuals, teens, adults, and couples. The therapist-owned practice describes its culture as collaborative and supportive, and matches clients with therapists based on clinical interests and fit. Its administrative team handles scheduling, billing, intake, and marketing so therapists can focus on clinical work. The role offers in-person and hybrid options depending on role and location, at locations in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and San Jose, California. Licensed therapists earn $100,000 in a full-time W-2 role. The practice provides weekly consultation and skills groups, at least 18 continuing education credits per year at no cost, CBT and OCD certification training, and couples-specific consultation and supervision for therapists building or expanding a couples caseload. Full-time benefits include health insurance with dental, vision, and life coverage, with the employer covering 50% of the premium; paid time off and sick leave; a 401(k); malpractice insurance; and cell phone reimbursement.

Requirements

Active California license or associate registration as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
Experience working with individuals, teens, and couples.
Comfort using evidence-based approaches, including CBT and other modalities.
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Availability at least two afternoons or evenings per week.

Training in the Gottman Method or EFT.
