About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct independent eye examinations focused on vision loss and visual impairment. This is a flexible, evaluation-only opportunity with no treatment, prescribing, follow-up care, or on-call responsibilities. The role involves conducting comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments, performing visual acuity, visual field, automated perimetry, and related testing, reviewing medical history and documentation, and preparing objective, accurate medical reports. The work supports veterans and individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• OD, MD, or DO with an Ophthalmology specialty
• Active, unrestricted New York license

Nice To Haves

• Board certification preferred

Responsibilities
