Requirements

  • Current Licensed Dispensing Optician License in the state of operation
  • Optical experience required
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a performance-based sales environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous luxury retail, fashion, or optical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through the eyewear selection process by combining fashion expertise with optical knowledge
  • Recommend frames, lenses, and lens enhancements based on lifestyle and vision needs
  • Create meaningful relationships that drive customer loyalty and repeat business
  • Partner with Optometrists and retail team members to ensure a seamless patient journey
  • Troubleshoot complex optical issues and support the team with technical questions
  • Ensure prescriptions, measurements, and orders are completed accurately
  • Partner closely with the SEE Lab to resolve issues and maintain exceptional quality standards
  • Stay current on lens technologies, optical best practices, and industry trends
  • Communicate optical updates and education to store teams
  • Meet and exceed individual sales and KPI goals
  • Support team selling and contribute to overall store performance
  • Identify opportunities to build customer relationships and drive traffic to the business
  • Utilize downtime productively to support store operations and customer engagement
  • Partner with Store Leadership to develop the optical knowledge of the team
  • Coach and support peers through training, mentorship, and collaboration
  • Model SEE's selling standards and customer experience expectations
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and solutions-oriented team culture
