About The Position

The Licensed Optician role is responsible for providing high-level member service and assisting with various optical needs. This position involves dispensing eyewear, assisting members with frame and lens selections, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. The optician will also be responsible for maintaining the optical department's appearance and inventory, and adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued optician license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• Provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Dispense eyewear to members according to prescriptions.
• Assist members with frame and lens selection, considering their needs and preferences.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery of eyewear.
• Perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear.
• Maintain the optical department's appearance, including displays and inventory.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders for frames, lenses, and other optical supplies.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to patient care and safety.
• Provide prompt, courteous member service when answering phones and assisting members.
• Operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery as needed.
• Assist with department duties as necessary.
• Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
