About The Position

LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to create exceptional value in the lives of customers by delivering Signature Customer Experiences. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician.
Optical dispensing experience.
Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
Knowledge of current store merchandise assortment and use of Inventory management systems.
Strong communicator and listener.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Sales skills – ability to use and carry an IPAD / tablet.
Comfortable with the use of technology to engage patients, customers, and associates.

Nice To Haves

Actively studying LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program.
Previous customer service and retail experience.

Responsibilities

Execute the CEE Service Model (Connect, Explore, Exceed) to provide unsurpassed customer service.
Support problem-solving and troubleshooting for customer issues.
Engage patients, customers, and associates using technology to enhance experiences.
Deliver the Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision.
Act as a leader in optical acumen, setting the tone for customer service and providing expertise to associates.
Anticipate and resolve customer problems by identifying underlying causes and developing long-term solutions.
Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on their lifestyle, prescription, and budget, suggesting improvements and recommending solutions.
Assist other retail associates with complex customer product needs and prescriptions.
Show patience and courtesy with customers, and find answers to unfamiliar questions or products.
Assist co-workers with questions or problems and cooperate in group efforts.
Educate customers on LensCrafters' guarantees and services, including eyewear care, adjustments, follow-up services, protection plans, and warranties.
Perform tasks such as taking and recording measurements, and carefully and correctly adjusting or fitting eyewear.
Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
Celebrate LensCrafters Advantages at dispense.
Strive to achieve 'Exceptional Results' on annual CEI/Functional Skills assessments.
Operate the Point of Sale terminal accurately, inputting customer and prescription information.
Process payments accurately, following company security procedures, and handling various transaction types (credit cards, discounts, insurance, coupons).
Utilize Order Tracker to ensure orders are ready when promised (RWP).
Maintain store appearance and ensure visual displays align with company planograms.
Foster a positive and productive relationship with the Store Manager/Macy's Host to grow the business and enhance customer satisfaction.
