About The Position
HTS is hiring a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our therapy team at a top-rated skilled nursing facility in Kendallville, Indiana, just 30 minutes north of Fort Wayne. Dedicated to delivering long-term care and memory care, this facility is slower paced and focused on maintaining quality of life. In this position, the OTA will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and resident programs. At 30 – 40 hours per week, this is a full-time position.
Requirements
- Active State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license.
- Degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program.
- Passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination.
- Fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and resident programs.
