About The Position

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of the nursing home and attached CBRF. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality resident care and services while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Administrator provides strategic direction, oversees financial performance, manages staff, and promotes a culture of resident-centered care and operational excellence. We’re looking for positive, collaborative team members who show leadership, are respectful, and overflow with integrity, care, and hard work.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing and/or meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements
  • Tech-comfortable, not tech-averse. You use data, dashboards, and communication tools to stay sharp.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the daily operations of the nursing facility.
  • Ensure the facility provides quality resident care in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Develop and implement strategic goals, objectives, and operational plans.
  • Foster a positive culture focused on resident satisfaction, employee engagement, and quality outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary representative of the facility with residents, families, regulatory agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements and state licensing regulations.
  • Lead survey readiness efforts and coordinate responses to regulatory inspections and audits. Be able to create a plan of correction for deficiencies.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor facility budgets.
  • Oversee revenue cycle operations, including census development and reimbursement management.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure responsible stewardship of facility resources.
  • Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
  • Monitor quality indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure resident rights are protected and upheld.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to improve quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
  • Investigate and address resident or family concerns promptly and effectively.
