About The Position

Diversicare is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead Baron House of Hueytown in the Birmingham area. The administrator has comprehensive oversight of center operations and is responsible for promoting excellence in patient care, satisfaction, and financial performance. The role includes ensuring regulatory compliance, embedding Diversicare’s culture in daily operations, and leading the center toward a 5-star rating. The administrator also develops industry relationships and leads community outreach.

Requirements

Current Nursing Home Administrator license.
Experience in a post-acute care setting.
Demonstrated ability to manage team performance in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to use strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision-making, and financial analysis.
Ability to work flexible hours based on the needs of the center.

Responsibilities

Keep patients and residents at the center of every decision.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Embed all elements of the Diversicare culture in the center’s daily operations.
Ensure effective stewardship to meet budgetary commitments.
Develop a business plan designed to meet community and marketplace needs.
Ensure quality care and services for patients and residents, meeting the satisfaction of patients, residents, families, physicians, and other partners.
Lead center operations and pursue strategies to advance the center toward a 5-star rating.
Develop industry relationships and lead community outreach efforts.
