About The Position

Ball HealthCare Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in the state of Alabama for an established skilled nursing facility. This role requires a passion for serving in a rehabilitation and healthcare environment and building a career that makes a difference. The administrator must be able to plan and direct facility operations to ensure quality resident/patient care meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards. This includes ensuring the well-being and good health of each resident and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities encompass staffing, overseeing all departments, managing resident care, financial management, marketing, and community outreach. The role also involves monitoring and directing the execution of policies and procedures, and acting as a liaison between the facility, residents, families, community groups, and hospital administrators.

Requirements

  • Must be graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration, Human Services, Public Health or a related field.
  • Must possess a valid Alabama State Nursing Home Administrator's license.
  • Must have three (3) years of professional experience in healthcare administration.
  • Must have at least one (1) year experience as a Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator.
  • Must be knowledgeable of resident rights and supports an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of Medicare, Medicaid bylaws and other legal policies.
  • Adheres to confidentiality of all data, including residents, employees and operations data and HIPAA regulations.
  • Must possess good verbal and written skills in communication.
  • Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward the elderly.
