About The Position

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) to join our care team and make a meaningful difference every day. We are currently hiring for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions on day, evening, and overnight shifts. As a Licensed Nursing Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing personal and clinical care to our residents under the supervision of licensed nurses. This role is key to maintaining both the physical comfort and emotional well-being of our residents.

Requirements

  • Active LNA license in the state of Vermont (or reciprocity)
  • Compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a difference
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid certification as a Licensed nursing Assistant LNA in the state of employment.
  • Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.
  • Displays responsibility by taking ownership of quality care.
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Nice To Haves

  • Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
  • Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed
  • Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
  • Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
  • Conducts LNA job responsibilities in accordance
  • Attends interdisciplinary meetings as needed to provide input into selected resident’s plans of care and documents restorative services provided
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
