About The Position

We are seeking Part-Time and/or On-Call LPNs and RNs to join our team! As our community's Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing the health status of individual residents; planning interventions to enhance resident health, independence and quality of life; implementing plans of care; and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided. Typical duties include administering prescribed medications, performing ordered treatments, and assuring that Nursing Assistants - Certified (NACs) provide care in a manner that will provide optimal benefit to residents. To assure continuity of high quality care, you must communicate effectively with residents, their families and representatives, other staff, physicians, and health care providers of various specialties. As the Charge Nurse, you continually raises the standard of care through participation in quality assurance activities and continuing education.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program of nursing education
  • Current Nursing license for the State of WA
  • Ability and willingness to complete continuing education according to State Law

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 – 5 years experience
  • Broad knowledge base and experience in geriatric nursing, long term care and supervisory duties
  • Experienced in the care of the geriatric resident as evidenced by completed courses and clinical practice
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
