About The Position

Marquis Companies, a growing and dynamic healthcare organization established in 1989, is seeking a Licensed Nurse (LVN/RN) for full-time night shifts. Marquis Companies operates Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy across California, Oregon, and Nevada. This role offers opportunities for Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call positions. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), responsibilities include administering medications to residents as ordered, refilling and cleaning the stock cart, and performing other nursing duties as assigned in accordance with established standards and state requirements. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide quality nursing care, direct the day-to-day functions of Nursing Assistants, and meet with nursing staff to plan shifts' services, programs, and activities.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN or LVN for the appropriate State.
  • Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
  • Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
  • Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
  • Performing other nursing duties as assigned.
  • Ensuring quality nursing care is provided to the residents.
  • Directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants.
  • Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities.
