About The Position

Marquis Companies is a growing and dynamic healthcare organization with over 30 years of experience, operating post-acute rehab and assisted living facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy across California, Oregon, and Nevada. We are seeking a Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) for Full-Time Night shifts, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), your primary responsibility will be administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians and under the supervision of the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, or Director of Nursing Services. This includes refilling and cleaning the stock cart, ensuring medication administration adheres to established nursing standards and state requirements, and performing other assigned nursing duties. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize your nursing and leadership skills to ensure quality resident care and direct the daily functions of Nursing Assistants. Your role will involve meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
  • Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
  • Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
  • Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
  • Performing other nursing duties as assigned.
  • Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (for RNs).
  • Directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants (for RNs).
