Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) - PT Eves - Saturday and Tuesday
About The Position
Marquis Companies is a growing and dynamic healthcare organization with facilities across California, Oregon, and Nevada. They are seeking a Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) for part-time evening shifts on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The role involves administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians, maintaining the medication cart, and performing other nursing duties. For Registered Nurses (RNs), the role also includes leadership responsibilities, ensuring quality care, and directing nursing assistants. Requirements
- Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
- Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administering of medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
- Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
- Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
- Other nursing duties as assigned.
- Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (for RNs).
- Ensuring that quality nursing care is provided to the residents (for RNs).
- Directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants (for RNs).
