About The Position

Marquis Companies, a growing and dynamic healthcare organization with a presence in California, Oregon, and Nevada since 1989, is seeking a Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) for Full-Time Night shifts. The organization includes Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. This role is crucial for administering medications and ensuring quality nursing care. As an LPN, responsibilities include administering medications as ordered, refilling and cleaning the stock cart, and adhering to established nursing standards. As an RN, you will provide quality nursing care and direct the day-to-day functions of Nursing Assistants, including planning shifts' services, programs, and activities.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
• Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administering of medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
• Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
• Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
• Other nursing duties as assigned.
• Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities.
