About The Position
Marquis Companies, established in 1989, is a growing healthcare organization with thousands of employees across California, Oregon, and Nevada. They operate Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. This role is for a full-time Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) on the night shift. As an LPN, responsibilities include administering medications to residents as ordered, refilling and cleaning the stock cart, and performing other nursing duties. As an RN, responsibilities include ensuring quality nursing care, directing nursing assistants, and planning shift services, programs, and activities.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
- Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
- Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
- Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
- Performing other nursing duties as assigned.
- Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (for RNs).
- Ensuring quality nursing care is provided to the residents (for RNs).
- Directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants (for RNs).
