Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) - PT Day Shift
About The Position
Marquis Companies, a growing and dynamic healthcare organization established in 1989, operates facilities across California, Oregon, and Nevada, including Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) for Part-Time Day Shift positions. As an LPN, you will administer medications to residents as ordered, maintain the stock cart, and perform other nursing duties. As an RN, you will ensure quality nursing care, direct nursing assistants, and plan shift services, programs, and activities.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
- Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administering of medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
- Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
- Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
- Other nursing duties as assigned.
- Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities.
