About The Position

The role of the Crystal Spa Nail Technician is to provide guests with quality nail services while working in a friendly, professional environment.

Requirements

Must maintain all current licenses and certifications that are required on a state and local level.
A higher education credential is required.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to walk.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.

Previous sales and retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized nail services and treatments that meet the clients’ needs and expectations.
Explain products, services and treatments to clients, and assist them with determining their individual needs.
Ensure clients feel welcome when they arrive for their appointments.
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law, and the spa’s policies and procedures.
Maintain spa appearance and cleanliness.
Stock and maintain work stations according to standard operating procedures.
Promote and up-sell products and services.
Ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the spa.
Assist Spa in activities such as staff meetings, promotions, housekeeping duties.
Assist with washing and folding of linens used in treatment rooms.
Maintain the highest level of product knowledge, and have complete knowledge of all spa services presently offered.
Possess proficiency in standard nail and skin services.
Perform all treatments on services menu based on current certifications.
Suggest to guests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
Understand the ingredients in products and be able to explain their benefits to guests.
Answer guest questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
Ensure work areas are clean and set according to procedures.
Inform Supervisor of product needs.
Create and maintain client cards with treatment notes, when appropriate.
Complete all assigned side work.
Attend all scheduled meetings and professional trainings.
Clean and disinfect all equipment on a daily basis.
Assist staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain facility and prepare for special events.
Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
