About The Position
Premium Velocity Auto / Jiffy Lube is hiring a Licensed State Motor Vehicle Inspector / Lube Technician. This role is for individuals with a State Motor Vehicle Inspector License who are looking for a career with opportunity, growth, and earning potential. The position involves inspecting, diagnosing, communicating, and performing preventative maintenance in a dynamic, high-energy shop environment. Requirements
- A valid State Vehicle Inspector License
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform physical job duties (lifting 50+ lbs., bending, crawling, etc.)
- Comfort working in enclosed or semi-outdoor spaces
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship needed)

Responsibilities
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections to meet state DMV + emissions standards
- Document inspection results with accuracy and attention to detail
- Share pass/fail outcomes and recommend next steps to customers + the service team
- Spot issues in wear, damage, alignment, illegal equipment, and more
- Evaluate mechanical systems, electronics, circuits, accessories, and air lines
- Complete preventative maintenance (oil changes, fluids, lights, brakes, tires, etc.)
- Keep your bay clean, safe, and organized
