This hybrid position provides therapeutic services in both in-home and office-based settings. Our therapists work directly with children, adolescents, individuals, and families while collaborating with other professionals involved in each client’s care. No two days are exactly the same. This position provides an opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships while helping clients and families work toward lasting, positive change.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Current and active New Jersey license/credential appropriate for the position, including LCSW, LPC, LSW, LMFT, or LAC.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling or behavioral health services to children.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in mental health or behavioral health services.
  • Working knowledge of the DSM and the ability to exercise appropriate clinical judgment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as travel is required for in-home/community-based services.
  • Ability to meet applicable provider enrollment and credentialing requirements.
  • Candidates must hold or be willing and eligible to obtain and maintain: An individual National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • A CAQH provider profile
  • Required enrollment associated with the 21st Century Cures Act, as applicable

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, individuals, and families experiencing behavioral, emotional, or mental health challenges.
  • Assess client strengths, needs, presenting concerns, and treatment goals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans.
  • Help clients develop skills related to emotional regulation, independence, decision-making, communication, coping, and interpersonal relationships.
  • Recognize and appropriately respond to concerns involving abuse, neglect, safety, and other clinical risk factors in accordance with applicable reporting requirements and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with educators, care managers, clinicians, physicians, families, and other members of the client’s treatment team to support coordinated care.
  • Provide crisis or emergency clinical support when required within the responsibilities of the position.
  • Complete required clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings, supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain appropriate professional and ethical boundaries and comply with applicable licensing, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
