About The Position

Backpack Healthcare is growing in Michigan and is looking for compassionate, dedicated therapists to provide high-quality virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults across the state. Requirements

• Active Michigan independent license (LPC, LMSW, or LMFT)
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families—or a passion for serving this population
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care

Responsibilities

• Provide 15–22 telehealth sessions per week, delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Michigan.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
• Develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy via secure telehealth.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators.
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Support families through education, collaboration, and coordinated care.
