Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Psychologist, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC)
About The Position
The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families. Success in this role means maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with a supportive clinical team. APG Health specializes in providing effective and efficient behavioral health care, psychiatric care and family counseling. Today, APG Health is the largest outpatient behavioral healthcare clinic in the Central Florida Area with providers providing care and support for more than twenty thousand clients. APG Health provides behavioral healthcare services to Orlando residents that include psychiatric care for adults and children, mental health counseling, on-site ADHD testing, and clinical trials and studies for eligible candidates. We are staffed by over twenty providers, and numerous support staff that include Psychiatrists, Adult Registered Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Mental Health Counselors with a range of specialties in the field of psychiatry. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC in Florida
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Ability to provide therapy independently
- Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
- Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.)
- Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure outpatient clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities to children, adolescents and adults
- Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
- Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
- Mimimum active caseload of 20 clients per week required
- Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
- Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies
