Licensed Mental Health Therapist
About The Position
Grace Community Care & Homes is developing its Mental Health department and seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to contribute to person-centered services, reliable operations, and accurate documentation. The therapist will provide clinical services within their credentials and professional scope, and collaborate with department leadership and operational teams. This is a planned role. The start date and duties depend on applicable program approvals, funding, credentialing, and staffing readiness. Services may begin only within the approved scope and at approved locations. The position is based in New Jersey, with administrative coordination through Grace and on-site or community assignments as applicable. It is part-time; the assignment and weekly schedule will be discussed during hiring. Final regulatory eligibility will be verified before appointment or service delivery. Requirements
- Active New Jersey independent clinical license appropriate to the service, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or psychologist.
- Provide relevant credentials, experience, availability, and a resume.
- Supervision where required.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessments and individual, group, or family therapy within credentials.
- Develop treatment plans and document progress.
- Coordinate referrals and safety planning.
- Collaborate with department leadership, intake, credentialing, billing, and quality teams.
- Maintain confidentiality, respect participant choice, communicate service gaps promptly, and follow role-specific policies and professional scope.
- Participate in orientation, competency review, and quality improvement.
