We are looking for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide mental health counseling to children and to the parents of children who are receiving services from Therapy Smarts Inc. The role involves timely completion of effective clinical documentation, conducting initial client intakes, assessments, and reassessments. The therapist will partner with Patient Services & Scheduling departments to promote care management, ensuring clients have access to beneficial services. This position requires managing a caseload, developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans, and providing support and instruction to families and caregivers regarding behavior management. The role may also include conducting Functional Assessments and, if licensed for Clinical Supervision, supervising and mentoring the Mental Health team, establishing performance expectations, developing supervision plans, conducting performance evaluations, and monitoring program progress and productivity. The therapist will also complete documentation of hours for licensure pursuit, follow North Carolina Board rules for Clinical Supervision, engage in weekly supervision and staffing of cases, and supervise/train mental health counselors to full licensure. The position involves managing and organizing scheduling for a clinically appropriate caseload and participating in Trimester Reviews for team members. The work settings include clinics, schools, daycares, and Headstarts.
