Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Virginia)
About The Position
Charlie Health is seeking exceptional Licensed Mental Health Therapists/Counselors to provide telehealth services. We are looking for forward-thinking professionals in mental health, substance use, and eating disorders to enhance our programming and deliver the best possible care to our clients. This role can be either a contract/1099 or a W2 position. The contract position offers flexibility in scheduling and work location, requiring a minimum of 12 hours per week for group, individual, and/or family sessions. The W2 position is full-time, requiring some evening and Saturday availability for group, individual, and/or family sessions. Charlie Health is known for its warm and empathetic Clinical Team, and successful candidates should be well-versed in various modalities, sophisticated, relational, and adept at self-care. We are a mission-driven team focused on expanding access to life-saving behavioral healthcare and transforming the behavioral health landscape.
Requirements
- Licensed mental health or substance use counselor (all disciplines welcome).
- Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults clients.
- Master's degree in mental health or related field.
- Availability between 12 and 40 hours per week depending on 1099 or W2.
- Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox–in addition to EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.
- Must be available in the evenings to meet the schedules of our clients.
Nice To Haves
- Well versed in a variety of modalities and feel confident integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus).
- Passionate about the benefits of group treatment and skilled in conducting group treatment.
- Creative and engaging, especially over video!
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth services to clients.
- Facilitate group sessions.
- Conduct individual and/or family sessions.
- Integrate various treatment modalities into the treatment approach.
- Work with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults.
- Participate in case discussions for collaboration and skill development.
- Complete clinical documentation using AI-powered tools.
