About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Columbia Correctional Institution located in Lake City, Florida. The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
Requirements
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation.
- Must show active CPR certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Fully licensed LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred.
- Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns are encouraged to apply.
- License-eligible candidates will also be considered; candidates must obtain licensure prior to the start date if hired.
Responsibilities
