About The Position

Ready to help students navigate challenges and thrive at school? Join Cross Country Education as a licensed Mental Health Professional providing in-person counseling and mental health support to high school students in Immokalee, FL during a temporary maternity leave coverage assignment. Provide individual and/or group counseling and mental health interventions to support high school students’ emotional, behavioral, and social well-being. Assess student needs and develop appropriate interventions to address mental health concerns and promote positive outcomes. Collaborate with school staff and other support professionals to promote student success, safety, and access to appropriate resources. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable school and professional requirements.

Requirements

Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field
Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Registered interns are not eligible for this position
Experience providing mental health services to high school-aged students, preferably in a school or youth-serving setting
