About The Position
TK Health is currently hiring multiple Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team at Jefferson County Jail. Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
- Licensure required: LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LADC
- Master's degree with licensure as a LPC, LCSW, LADC, or LMFT (Required)
- Ability to Commute: Beaumont, TX (Required)
- Work Location: In person
Nice To Haves
- Experience in correctional, crisis, or substance abuse settings is preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and crisis interventions
- Provide suicide risk evaluations and prevention support
- Deliver MAT and substance abuse counseling
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and release plans
- Coordinate care with medical, jail, and community providers
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed
- Offer training for correctional staff on mental health topics
