About The Position
We are seeking a Rhode Island-licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide virtual counseling to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and related concerns. You will assess client needs, establish treatment goals, conduct scheduled therapy sessions, and document progress throughout care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in mental health counseling or an approved allied field
- Active Rhode Island clinical mental health counselor license
- At least two years of relevant postgraduate clinical experience
- Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Strong clinical writing and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake and diagnostic assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide psychotherapy through secure video sessions
- Monitor symptoms and treatment progress
- Update clinical goals when client needs change
- Follow crisis-response and referral procedures
