About The Position

Real House Behavioral Health Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Mental Health Counselors to join our team on a remote per diem basis. This position provides virtual support, counseling, case management, and mental health services to individuals participating in behavioral health and recovery programs throughout New Jersey. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse treatment preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Must have reliable internet access and a private workspace
• Successful completion of background check
• Drug and alcohol screening
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to comply with all Company policies and training requirements

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred
• LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, or CADC/LCADC preferred but not required depending on experience
• Experience with telehealth or virtual counseling platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual counseling and mental health support services to clients
• Conduct assessments, check-ins, and supportive counseling sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with program staff, case managers, and clinical leadership
• Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination when needed
• Monitor client progress and report concerns appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and Company policies
• Participate in virtual team meetings and trainings as assigned
