About The Position

Cornerstone Christian Counseling is seeking an experienced and licensed Christ-centered therapist who is highly trained and specializes in working with adolescents, teens, and adults. The therapist must also have formal training and be working towards certification in IFS, EMDR, and/or BSP. This role involves providing in-person sessions at their office in Wheat Ridge, CO. A part-time caseload can take three to six months to build.

Requirements

Active CO license: LPC or LMFT (pre-licensed clinicians will not be considered).
Formal training and working towards certification in at least one of the following: IFS, BSP, EMDR.
A strong Christian faith and ability to integrate faith-based approaches in therapy.
Experience and passion for working with adolescents, teens, and adults with trauma.
Alignment with Cornerstone’s Mission, Vision, and Statement of Faith.
Minimum schedule availability of 15 hours/week.
Willingness to commit to at least two weeknight evening blocks or one weeknight evening and one Saturday block per week.

Nice To Haves

Additional training in other evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities.
Training in working with adolescents and/or children.
Experience working with neurodivergent clients.

Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based counseling grounded in a Christian worldview.
Work with adolescents, teens, and adults, with a focus on trauma.
Integrate faith-based approaches in therapy.
Attend weekly group supervision (Wednesdays, 9-11am MT).
Commit to at least two weeknight evening blocks or one weeknight evening and one Saturday block per week.
Maintain a minimum schedule availability of 15 hours/week, filling 80% of that schedule weekly.
Attend ongoing training and pursue specialization and certifications.
Build long-term client relationships (averaging 10+ sessions per client).
