About The Position

We’re hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Fort Plain, New York who wants schedule flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and strong organizational support. You’ll step into an outpatient behavioral health role providing individual, family, and group counseling services to clients ages 5 and older experiencing behavioral health or substance use concerns. You’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team while utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches in a supportive clinical environment.

Requirements

• LMHC licensed in the State of New York
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable providing individual, family, and group counseling
• Value collaboration within interdisciplinary care teams
• Comfortable working within electronic health record systems
• Respond well to crisis situations and urgent patient needs

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, family, and group counseling services to clients ages 5 and older experiencing behavioral health or substance use concerns.
