About The Position

Eastside Counseling Center is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) to join our team in a full-time hybrid role based in Bellevue, WA, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role will primarily focus on providing therapeutic services to a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families across varying ages and stages of life. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and interested in supporting clients with a broad range of mental health concerns and personal experiences. Afternoon and early evening in-person availability is strongly preferred to accommodate client scheduling needs. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about supporting clients through meaningful life experiences, fostering resilience, and helping individuals and relationships thrive.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in treatment planning and case management to provide structured, individualized care for clients.
  • Strong skills and knowledge in mental health and psychology to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Experience working with diverse populations across varying ages, backgrounds, and clinical presentations.
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, and possession of Washington State LMHCA licensure.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental client-centered approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with diverse populations and a commitment to inclusivity and cultural competence.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care and a passion for fostering personal growth and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy services to a diverse client population.
  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's needs and goals.
  • Collaborating with family members, caregivers, or other support systems when clinically appropriate.
  • Supporting clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress management, and behavioral or emotional concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Managing client caseloads and participating in case consultation as needed.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team and participating in professional development opportunities.
