About The Position

Behavioral Health Clinic (BHC) is expanding throughout the greater Milwaukee area and is seeking compassionate, motivated Licensed Mental Health Clinicians to join our growing multidisciplinary team. Opportunities are available at our Downtown/Third Ward, West Allis, Cedarburg, and West Bend locations. Clinicians may work from one primary office or discuss opportunities across multiple locations based on their preferences, office availability, and client needs. This opportunity is open to Wisconsin-licensed Professional Counselors, Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Psychologists who value clinical quality, professional autonomy, and meaningful collaboration. The Licensed Mental Health Clinician provides individualized, evidence-based behavioral health services based on the clinician’s experience, areas of interest, and preferred client population. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, documentation, care coordination, and collaboration with other professionals involved in the client’s care. BHC offers flexibility in scheduling, service delivery, client population, and compensation structure based on organizational needs and clinician preferences.

Requirements

  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or another qualifying behavioral health discipline.
  • Active Wisconsin license as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist.
  • Ability to practice independently within the scope of the applicable Wisconsin license.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to satisfy applicable background-check, credentialing, and payer-enrollment requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services.
  • Experience using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
  • Training or experience working with specialized populations or treatment approaches.
  • Interest in contributing to a growing, collaborative, multidisciplinary practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, couples, or group therapy based on training and experience.
  • Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver ethical, trauma-informed, and evidence-based behavioral health services.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate.
  • Coordinate care with healthcare providers, schools, caregivers, and community partners when authorized and clinically appropriate.
  • Participate in clinical consultation, peer collaboration, and organizational meetings as required.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality.
  • Follow BHC policies and all applicable licensing, ethical, billing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete continuing education and maintain all credentials required for the position.
