About The Position

Latino Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Clinician to ensure the sustainability and delivery of quality mental health care services to youth and families in our community. The Licensed Mental Health Clinician will play a crucial role in implementing mental health services, developing therapeutic curricula, and monitoring and evaluating client progress. This position will also ensure compliance with local public health authorities, Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs), and Oregon Health Authority (OHA) guidelines, contributing to the holistic well-being of the Latine community.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice as a mental health provider (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, QMHP or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years experience post licensure.
  • Fluency in English/Spanish required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the mental health needs of Latine communities.
  • Strong clinical skills with experience individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and community partners.
  • Experience in trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Latine populations in community-based settings.
  • Knowledge of mental health issues specific to immigrant and underserved communities.
  • Familiarity with barriers to mental health access and strategies to reduce these barriers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, culturally relevant mental health services to Latine individuals, families, and communities.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including diagnosing and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Offer individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques.
  • Collaborate with community partners, case managers, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic client care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Advocate for clients' access to mental health services, connecting them with appropriate resources and support.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance service delivery.
  • Educate clients and communities on mental health topics, promoting wellness and reducing stigma.
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends, research, and best practices in the field of mental health.
