Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• At least one year’s training and/or clinical experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in a behavioral health, mental health, or substance use disorder treatment setting.
• Experience with treatment planning, clinical documentation, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Prior work in residential, outpatient, or multidisciplinary treatment environments.
• Current state clinical licensure or licensure eligibility (e.g., LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Associate licensure considered.
• First Aid/ CPR Certification
• Crisis Intervention Certification

Nice To Haves

• Dual licensure or certification in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment (LCAS) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing the full range of therapeutic interventions to clients in mental health treatment with a focus on PHP/IOP.
• Assessment and treatment services.
• Family/relationship services.
• Group process.
• Educational presentations.
• Treatment planning and review.
• Documentation of services and client response.
• Concurrent reviews.
• Discharge planning.
• Managed care contact as directed by designated staff.
• Facilitating group, individual therapy, and family therapy.
• Assessing client progress.
• Conducting discharge planning.
• Partnering with members of a treatment team.
• Developing and presenting lectures and education presentations to clients.
• Participating in QA activities.
